European Circus Prints

The Tibbals International Collection at The Ringling Museum contains an extensive and noteworthy collection of circus and circus-related prints dating from the sixteenth through twentieth centuries, from locations all over the globe. Portraits of performers and sideshow attractions, animal images, political cartoons, and architectural prints all help to tell the story of the early days of the circus and performing arts outside of the United States.
