John & Mable Ringling

Among the most intimate items in the collection are the personal effects and clothing used by John and Mable Ringling. Many of these were left by John Ringling upon his death in 1936, while other items belonging to Mable Ringling were donated to The Ringling by descendents many years later. These items give a look into the style and daily lives of John and Mable Ringling.
